Marianne Domin  - Organizational Effectiveness Consultant / Career Advisor

Marianne Domin, dearjane

With over 16 years experience as an organization development professional, Marianne helps people develop their potential in their work lives by linking who they are to what they do.

After studying composition and jazz arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she segued into an international consulting firm followed by a succession of corporate roles with McKesson. When she landed in the training and development department, she began to see the value of personal development... and gained a greater understanding into the nature of work, career, and how we fit... or don't fit... into the jobs we have.  By working with everyone in the organization her love grew to help create thriving businesses, recognizing that when people can be themselves, they do their best work.

While at McKesson she created the first career learning center to support career planning for 700+ headquarters employees, co-led implementation of an organization-wide core values and change initiative to 22,000 employees and served as a regional planning member for the Institute for Management Studies, where she developed the executive and leadership development seminars curriculum for the San Francisco Bay Area.

She holds certifications in training and human resources development from UC Berkeley and six sigma process improvement methodologies.  She has volunteered for Project Open Hand, the San Francisco Food Bank and the Sausalito Arts Festival.  Marianne loves to sing, play with dogs, and likes to discover new walking trails.
